Grand Junction, CO

Grand Junction, CO, is a small city on the western edge of Colorado. This place is around 25 miles from Utah. I like the attractive setting, the great year-round climate, and the fresh air quality. In the past years, Grand Junction started its growth. It becomes a great community alternative to the Colorado Front Range's hustle and bustle, most especially for retirees. Last year, there was a massive arrival of migrants coming from the west. The climate is sunny, dry, and pleasant. Grand Junction is well preserved west town flavor. I like it when it’s September, May, and June because these are the most pleasant months. I like the environment in Grand Junction, CO.

Mesa County to be placed under new COVID-19 restrictions

Mesa County is about to be placed under tighter COVID-19 restrictions that will close indoor dining and further restrict capacity limits at facilities like gyms. Businesses that have been recognized by the county for their commitment to public health practices will be sheltered from the new restrictions. The changes go into effect Friday, according to Mesa County Public Health, and follow an announcement by Gov. Jared Polis on new COVID-19 restrictions and protocols set to take effect. State officials on Tuesday announced that the COVID-19 dial, which health experts use to determine the level of “openness” a county can be based on their COVID-19 cases counts, would change. Read more here.
I’m reading a status dial from The Daily Sentinel. Mesa County is to be placed under a new Covid-19 restriction. It’s sad to know that the county is placed in a tight restriction, closing indoor dining and restricting the capacity limits in facilities such as the gym. The new businesses that are recognized to follow the public health practices will be sheltered from the new covid-19 restriction. Even though the indoor dining will close, the delivery and take out services will remain open. Besides this, the office work limits to 10% capacity, and remote work is encouraged.
